  Junior Achievement of British Columbia

Investing your time in Junior Achievement (JA) is a rewarding experience. Your personal and professional experiences help make business concepts relevant and can help shape a student’s future. Volunteering with Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) gives you the opportunity to be a role model for young people, strengthen your business acumen, and sharpen your communication skills.

Your commitment could vary from a single school day to a weekly visit of one hour each for five to ten weeks. It depends on the grade level of the program you would like to get involved. Not sure what program is best for you? Check out our Program Snapshot.

I delivered the first session on Organization today . . . and it was so much fun. The kids were so involved in the activity—you would not believe what ideas they came up with . . . . The teacher said she was really amazed at the response of the children. I would love to do this as a full time job. It is a riot! I am so glad I got this opportunity.” -
