Colliers Raises 40k for JABC - Jul-06,2010
Victoria, BC- Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) is pleased to announce they will receive all proceeds raised from the Colliers International 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament – Building Youth for the Future. The tournament took place on Thursday June 24th at Cordova Bay Golf Course in Victoria and raised $40,000 to support Junior Achievement programming.

British Columbia-Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) is commencing the nomination process for recognition by the Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame today. BC business leaders who have made an outstanding contribution to the province and exemplify excellence and integrity can now be nominated for induction into the Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame by their peers.

JABC Inducts Laureates into Hall of Fame - May-20,2010
Vancouver, BC – Almost 700 business leaders, aspirants and their guests from across BC gathered at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on May 19 for the induction of the province’s newest business laureates into the Hall of Fame (www.businesslaureatesbc.org). Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) was the host for the 5th Annual Business Laureates of British Columbia Gala Dinner and Induction Ceremonies, co-sponsored by Scotiabank Group and Fasken Martineau.

BC Student wins National JA Award - May-06,2010
Vancouver, BC- Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) is pleased to announce JA student Natalie Lau from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Vancouver has won the national Deloitte Inspiration Award. One of four students from across Canada to be honoured this year, Natalie will receive a $2500 scholarship and the opportunity to speak at Junior Achievement of Canada’s Business Hall of Fame Gala on May 11 in Toronto. The event draws more than 800 business leaders from across the country.

Business Laureate Leaves Legacy - Apr-01,2010
Vancouver, BC- It is with great sadness Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) announces the passing of Chester A. Johnson, C.M. O.B.C., B. Comm, F.C.A on March 29, 2010. Chester was inducted into the Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame by JABC in 2008. He was a second generation born in Vancouver and graduated from Lord Byng High School and the University of British Columbia. He served in the RCAF from 1943 to1945.
